About Me

There are a lot of photographers in San Diego. Some offer brand photography. A few even specialize in it. But very few offer specialize in brand photography and digital strategy. 

Before launching my own photography business, I worked in marketing for 8+ years. I have experience in copywriting, content strategy, website design, email marketing, marketing automation, and social media marketing with companies ranging from small startups to large companies. 

Ultimately, I felt compelled to return to my first love: photography. Ever since I was a kid taking photos of moose and glaciers with my dad’s Canon camera, I’ve had a love for photography. In college, I applied this love to student filmmaking and journalism for the school paper. Professionally, I decided to follow my other passion—digital marketing—but I never put down the camera, even as I was deep in the weeds on the latest marketing campaign. 

While I was living in San Diego and working at a large tech company in June 2026, my friend Elissa decided to chase her dream of starting her own swimwear brand, Sol Verde Swim. I had done portrait photoshoots for her before, and I offered to take some lifestyle and product photography for her new brand. She told me she needed a website, and guess what—I could do that for her too.

Elissa told me, as a startup founder, she found it valuable that I could offer both photography and digital marketing services. It didn’t click right away, but later, I got to thinking…how many photographers also offered digital marketing? I did some research, and I couldn’t find any. 

At the time, I was loving the marketing work of my day job, but I felt compelled to explore the new niche I had found. I started offering brand photography and digital marketing services to a few startups and small businesses in the San Diego area in my free time on evenings and weekends. Soon, it became apparent that I had found an underserved niche. 

As an entrepreneur myself, I absolutely love working with passionate, like-minded small business owners. I’m excited to continue exploring my passion and serving the San Diego small business community.
